摘要:The high internal phase emulsions (HIPE) prepared with poly(urethane urea) aqueous nanodispersion at different temperatures was reported. The difunctional poly(neopentylene adipate) polyol (P756), dimethylpropionic acid (DMPA), N-methyl-pyrrolidone (NMP), and isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI) were charged into a 250-mL four-necked flask equipped with a mechanical stirrer, a nitrogen inlet, a condenser, and a thermometer. The mixture was reacted at 85 °C for 4 h until the theoretical NCO value (3.9 wt %) was reached, which was tested with a standard dibutylamine back titration method according to ASTM D 2572-87. The mixed monomers of Styrene and divinylbenzene (DVB) as organic phase were added to a 100-mL beaker. The beaker was heated with a given temperature water bath and the organic phase was stirred with a magnetic stirrer at 500 rpm. The results showed that the HIPE stabilized by poly(urethane urea) (PUU) particles are temperature dependent.
