摘要：A cyclolanostene-type triterpene and three of its saponins, namely MP-C, D, E and F, were isolated from acid-hydrolyzate of the mixture of saponins of Mussaenda pubesecus. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of chemical and UV, IR, H-1, C-13 NMR and MS spectral evidence. MP-C was identified as heinsiagenin A, a recently, reported new cyclolanostene-type triterpene with a gamma-lactone attached at its 27-amide group. MP-D, E and F were beta-D-glucopyranoside, beta-D-xylopyranoside and beta-D-glucopyranosyl (1 --> 2)-beta-D-xylopyranoside of MP-C, named Mussaendoside A,B and C, respectively.
