摘要：在当前的工科专业教学和工程实践中,学生难以全面完整地接触各类材料的加工设备和工艺,这种感性认识的缺乏必然会导致学生只能依靠死记硬背来应付考试。从2002年起,华东理工大学材料科学与工程学院充分利用地处上海的地理优势,以排名亚洲第一、世界第二的中国国际塑料橡胶工业展览会(CHINAPLAS)为实践教学平台,拓宽材料科学与工程专业学生的视野,在工科教学改革方面做了一些有益的探索。
In the current process of professional education and engineering practice, it is difficult for students majored in engineering to have contacts with various material processing equipment and technol- ogies entirely and perfectly. Due to the short of perceptual knowledge, it is inevitable for the engineering college students to rely on nothing more than rote memorization to cope with exams. Taking advantage of the location of our university, the School of Material Science and Engineering has cooperated with Plas- tics and Rubber Trade Fair （CHINAPLAS） which is No. 1 in Asia and No. 2 in the world since 2002. Students majored in material science and engineering have expended their horizon. The exploration is ben- eficial.
