摘要:Centrifugal pump that is widely used in industrial production has high energy consumption. How to improve the operation efficiency of the pump units has gained more attention in many literatures. In this paper, a pump units start-stop mathematic model whose objective function is the minimum total shaft power is presented. In this model, the fluctuation and sequential characteristics of the supply pressure are fully taken into account. The outlet pressure of the pipes, flow, the total load power, start/stop count and pipeline characteristics are chosen as constraint factors. The optimal model is solved by the programming tool Lab Windows/CVI. Furthermore, the pump units of a water systems is optimized by the program. Compared with the results of manual operation, the optimization can reduce energy consumption by a 7.7 percentage.
