摘要:A link between the predominant conformer in supersaturated L-glutamic acid aqueous solution detected by FTIR spectroscopy and the polymorphic outcome is reported. In particular, the supersaturation is found to determine the morphology of the initially crystallized alpha form and thus to affect the rate for its further transformation to the beta form.
