摘要：Due to its significant cost benefits, offshore outsourcing has become the strategy for a large number of corporations, especially for software and other high-tech corporations. Knowledge transfer is involved in the process of offshore software outsourcing due to the characteristics of software. To address the preference for different knowledge transfer mechanisms under certain circumstance, the knowledge transfer mechanisms are explored based on case study. The impact of three variables on the knowledge transfer mechanisms is also examined, including relationships between actors, tacitness of knowledge and context.
