摘要:NOVELTY - Extracting sesquiterpene lactone compound from folium Artemisia argyi comprises e.g. (i) adding ethanol to crushed folium Artemisia argyi, refluxing and extracting, and vacuum distilling to obtain folium Artemisia argyi alcohol extract, (ii) introducing the extract into a macroporous absorption resin chromatographic column, eluting with ethanol/water system, collecting and concentrating eluate to obtain a pasty solid, and (iii) dissolving the solid in ethanol, coating on a polyamide column, eluting with de-ionized water, collecting the eluate and concentrating. USE - The sesquiterpene lactone compound extracted from folium Artemisia argyi is useful for preparing anti-tumor medicines (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method yields highly pure sesquiterpene lactone compound, is cost-effective, and enables reuse of the used resin without using toxic solvents. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Extracting sesquiterpene lactone compound from folium Artemisia argyi comprises (i) adding 8-10 times (w/v) of 60-100% (v/v) ethanol to crushed folium Artemisia argyi, refluxing and extracting for 1-3 times (1-3 hour each time), and vacuum distilling for removing ethanol to obtain folium Artemisia argyi alcohol extract, (ii) introducing the Artemisia argyi alcohol extract into a macroporous absorption resin chromatographic column, eluting with ethanol/water system having different concentration, collecting and concentrating the ethanol eluate (70-100%) (v/v) to obtain a pasty solid, (iii) dissolving the pasty solid in 50% (v/v) of ethanol, coating on a polyamide column, eluting with de-ionized water (6-10 times by volume), collecting water eluate and concentrating, and (iv) coating the concentrated water eluate on a silica column and gradually eluting with petroleum ether/ethyl acetate in a ratio of (3:1)-(1:4), performing TLC quantitative identification of the eluted compound, and combining the identical components, re-crystallizing with ethanol and purifying to obtain the sesquiterpene lactone compound, i.e., chloroklotzchin. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a medicinal composition, comprising the sesquiterpene lactone compound as a carrier.
