摘要:利用双螺杆挤出机将改性剂4,4’-亚甲基对苯-二异氰酸酯(MDI)和低粘度聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯(PET)进行反应挤出,使PET的力学性能得到显著提高,当加入4份MDI时,改性PET的缺口冲击强度提高了6倍,断裂伸长率提高了1.6倍。通过粘度测定、傅立叶变换红外光谱(FTIR)、X射线衍射(XRD)和扫描电子显微镜(SEM)等手段对改性PET的结构进行了研究。结果表明,MDI的加入能够同时实现扩链和结晶改性,改性PET的特性粘度提高到1.38dL/g;FTIR测试表明,过量的MDI对PET中含有的TiO2进行了偶联处理;XRD测试显示出现了两个新衍射峰,说明改性PET的结晶性能得到改善;SEM观察显示,PET中出现了尺寸约为5μm的微孔。
Semi-dull PET were used to reactive extrude with MDI in twin-extruder. After this process, we observed an in- crease in the notched eharpy impact strength of 1.57 kJ/m2 ( virgin semi-dull PET) to 9.03 kJ/m2 ( PET reacted with MDI at the ratio of 100:4) and an expend in elongation at break of 154% (virgin semi-dull PET) to 524% (PET reacted with MDI at the ratio of 100 : 1 ). The methods of FTIR, XRD, SEM and the intrinsic viscosity was used to study the structure of the material. It is useful for chain extension and crystal modification of PET by reactive extrusion with MDI. After reactive extrusion, the intrinsic viscosity was increased to 1.38 dl/g; the reaction between diisocyanates and hydroxyl group existed in the crystal of TiO2 was proved by FFIR curve; the two new peaks (2θ = 14.1°and 16.9° ) in XRD showed that the crystal of PET was more completeness ; and the micro-hole about 5μm was observed in the picture of SEM.
