摘要:Al2O3 amended the new-type MgTiO3/CaO-B2O3-SiO2 (CBS) ceramic composites for low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) applications were prepared via solid-state reaction, and the sinterability, crystalline composition, microstructure and performance of the synthesized samples were determined. The Al2O3 additive significantly promoted the dielectric performance of the ceramic composites, but also effectively promoted the bulk density and mechanical performance of the composites. Compared with other experimental samples and commercial products, the composite sample doped 4wt% Al2O3 sintered at 850 degrees C for 60min showed superior performance, which comprised a relatively-high bulk density, dielectric constant (epsilon(r)) of 11.47, dielectric loss (tan) of 2.4x10(-4) and volume resistivity ((v)) of 12.80x10(11) cm at 1MHz, and flexural strength (sigma(f)) of 269.23MPa.
