摘要:通过高温熔融法制备了Ho^(3+)/Tm^(3+)共掺杂的Bi_2O_3-SiO2-AlF_3-BaF_2(BSF)玻璃。分析了基质玻璃Bi_2O_3-SiO_2-AlF_3-BaF_2的声子能量和热稳定性;根据808 nm激光二极管激发下的荧光光谱,得到了Ho_2O_3和Tm_2O_3的最佳掺杂浓度,详细分析了Ho^(3+)和Tm^(3+)之间的能量转移机制;利用Judd-Ofelt理论计算了Ho^(3+)在2μm处的各项光谱参数。结果表明:基质铋硅酸盐玻璃具有声子能量低、共价性强和热稳定性高的性能。Ho^(3+)在铋硅酸盐玻璃中2.0μm处的最大发射截面为σ_e=1.25×10^(-20)cm^2,Ho^(3+):~5I_7能级的理论荧光寿命为4.065 ms,实际测量值为3.447 ms。这些优异的性能表明了Ho^(3+)/Tm^(3+)共掺的铋硅酸盐玻璃可作为2μm激光候选材料。
Bi203-SiO2-AIF3-BaF2 (BSF) glasses co-doped with Ho^3+ and Tm^3+ were prepared by high temperature melting method. Raman spectra and thermal stabilities were measured, fluorescence spectra under the excitation of 808 nm diode laser were measured, the optimum doping concentration of Ho^3+/Tm^3+ and energy transfer processes between Ho^3+ and Tm^3+ were analyzed. Absorption spectra were measured and three intensity parameters Ω1 of glasses were calculated based on Judd-Ofeh theory. Results indicated that bismuth-silicate glasses had low phonon energies and good thermal stabilities. Absorption and emission cross sections were calculated, the maximum absorption cross-section σa= 1. 14 ×10^-20 cm^2 and maximum emission cross-section σe = 1.25×10^-20 cm^2, Ho^3+ : 5I7→5I8, theoretical and measuredfluorescence lifetime 4. 065 and 3. 447 ms respectively. Hence, bismuth-silicate glasses co-doped with Ho^3+ and Tm^3+ are a sort of promising 2 μm laser material.
