摘要：The citation identity is applied to analyze research characteristics and networks of institutions.The indices of eight normal university libraries are calculated from the ratio of citations/institution-citees,the ratio of foreign institution citations/citations,the ratio of the self-citations/citations,the citing half-life,the ratio of immediacy citations/current year citations,and standard h index.The identified networks are constructed among eight institutions.Moreover,the correlation analysis is performed between the indices of institution citation identity and the indices of the institution academic impact.As a result,the institution citation identity can reflect the research characteristics and preferences of institution,utilization of foreign scientific literature and so on.All indices and indices of the institution academic impact are positively correlated.There is significant correlation between the ratio of foreign institution citations/citations and the institution academic impact.However,the correlations are no significant between other indices of institution citation identity and the institution academic impact.
