摘要:Anatase TiO2 nanoparticles loaded with C-60 were prepared by a simple hydrothermal process using water-soluble C-60 and TiO2 particles as precursors. The products were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectra, diffuse reflectance UV-Vis and photoluminescence spectroscopy. The photocatalytic activity of the C-60 loaded TiO2 catalysts was evaluated by the degradation of p-nitrophenol (PNP) under UV light irradiation. The results showed that suitable amount of C-60 remarkably improved the photocatalytic activity of anatase TiO2 nanoparticles and the C-60 in the catalyst played roles in transferring electrons and promoting the separation of photo-generated electron-hole pairs. In addition, PNP of 74% could be still degraded by the C-60 loaded TiO2 nanopartieles after seven cycles. The photocatalytic degradation mechanism of p-nitrophenol by the C-60 loaded TiO2 nanoparticles was discussed.
