摘要:A number of researchers conducted a study to investigate the performance of all-electric melting of pharmaceutical borosilicate glass. The cross-sectional structure of Furnace A and Furnace B was shown where the first was used to produce bottles of neutral pharmaceutical borosilicate glass and the second for tubes of the glass. The melter, throat, and vertical riser for the two furnaces were constructed of fusion cast AZS41 around which clay bricks were used to insulate. The superstructure of the melter was constructed of crown and sidewall, on which there was a door comprised of refractory clay bricks. All molybdenum electrode rods were installed in parallel and fixed on the sidewalls by the holder, which prevented these rods from being pulled out due to the pressure of molten glass. A number of stabilities were also considered for producing high-quality glass in all-electric melting furnaces.
