摘要:以研究开发聚丙烯(PP)高效阻燃体系为目的,采用一步共沉淀法合成了油酸钠修饰的十二烷基硫酸根插层的钙镁铝水滑石(O-SDS-LDHs),制备了4A沸石与O-SDS-LDHs对PP/无卤膨胀阻燃体系(IFR)的协效阻燃材料,研究了4A沸石与O-SDS-LDHs对PP/IFR阻燃性能和成炭性能的影响,阐述了4A沸石与O-SDS-LDHs对PP/IFR的双重协效阻燃机理。结果表明,PP/IFR/O-SDS-LDHs/Z1.0(质量比为75/23/1/1)材料的极限氧指数(LOI)值可达34.0%,垂直燃烧通过UL 94 V-0等级,无熔滴现象。热释放速率(HRR)和总热释放量(THR)明显降低,自熄性提高。4A沸石与O-SDS-LDHs能使PP/IFR燃烧后形成连续致密炭层,并在残炭中形成交联网状结构,提高炭层致密度和牢固度,有效阻碍热量传递和可燃性气体扩散,明显提高了PP的阻燃效果。
Aiming at developing the efficient flame?retardant polypropylene(PP)system,we synthesized a type of Ca?Mg?Al hydrotalcites intercalated with dodecyl sulfate and modified with sodium oleate(O?SDS?LDHs)through a one?step coprecipitation method.A synergistic flame retardant based on 4A zeolite and O?SDS?LDHs was prepared for the poly?propylene/halogen?free intumescent flame retardant(PP/IFR)system.The effects of 4A zeolite and O?SDS?LDHs on the flame retardancy and char formation of the PP/IFR system were studied,and their dual?synergistic flame?retardant mechanism was discussed.The results indicated that the PP/IFR/O?SDS?LDHs/Z1.0 system at a mass ratio of 75/23/1/1 achieved a limiting oxygen index of 34 vol%and a flammability rating of V?0 without any drippings in the vertical burning test.This system also presented a significant decrease in heat release and total heat release rates,exhibiting a self?extinguishing phenomenon.A combination of 4A zeolite and O?SDS?LDHs could enable PP to form a continuous and dense char layer after combustion.This resulted in the formation of a crosslinked network structure in the char residues to improve the density and stability of the char layer.As a result,the heat transfer and combustible gas diffusion was blocked effectively,and thus the flame?retardant effect of PP was improved significantly.
