摘要：A series of new glasses in the As-Ge-Ag-Se-Te-I system was studied. The glass-forming region of the ternary system involving As2Se3, GeTe and Agl was obtained. Physical properties of some typical As2Se3-GeTe-AgI glasses demonstrated their prospect of applications in optics for the mid-infrared region. High-purity glasses were prepared by a special designed technology. The structure of the chalcohalide glass studied is discussed.
