摘要：在Talmy"总体虚构模式"和运动事件框架及词汇化模式类型理论的基础上,对比分析了英汉情绪虚构运动句在运动主体、运动、路径和背衬四个语义成分表征上的异同,并探讨各语义成分语言表征差异折射出的运动主体抽象度、方式条件、路径颗粒度和背衬认知积极度上的内在认知差异,指出语义成分表征背后的认知模式具有人类普遍性和基于不同文化的异质性,而认知模式的异同又导致语言表征的多样性。
Based on the Talmy＇s ＂general fictivity model＂ and the theory of motion events and lexicalization pattern typology, this paper first analyzes the similarities and differences of the representation of fignre, motion, path and ground in emotional fictive motion expressions between English and Chinese. Then it explores the intrinsic cognitive differences with regard to the abstractness in figure, manner condition, path granularity and the cognitive activity in ground that different representations show in this paper. Finally, this study shows that the cognitive modes embodied in the representations are universal and particular due to different cultures. The cognitive modes lead to diversified linguistic representations.
