摘要:NOVELTY - Polyaspartic acid having a molecular weight of 3000-5000 is used in recovering soil contaminated by heavy metal, preferably cadmium and/or lead. An aqueous solution of polyaspartic acid (0.05-0.2 M) is placed in a cathode reservoir (1) and introduced to cathode (4) through circulating pump. Aqueous sodium hydroxide solution is added into anode reservoir (2) and introduced to anode (5) through circulating pump. Electrode is inserted into contaminated soil. The space between cathode and anode is adjusted to 0.5-1 m. Voltage gradient is 100-250 V/m. Electrolysis is conducted for 2-4 weeks. USE - Use of polyaspartic acid for recovering soil contaminated by heavy metal, preferably cadmium and/or lead (claimed). ADVANTAGE - Polyaspartic acid provides an environment-friendly chelator for electrolytically recovering soil contaminated by heavy metal.
