摘要：本文利用第十次(2012年)中国民营企业抽样调查数据,考察企业基层工会对新增投资的影响。研究发现,工会显著地促进了企业的原产品规模扩张、新产品研发以及工艺创新;工会对投资的作用大小取决于管理层对员工权益的回应,在员工权益保护较好的企业,工会促进投资的效应将放大。因此,在经济减速换挡的形势下,政府应制定相宜的劳动力市场制度,以激发基层工会对民营企业投资增长的积极作用。
Based on the data collected from the Chinese Private Enterprise Survey of 2012,this article aims to provide empirical evidence on how grass-roots labour unions have influenced the new investments in enterprises.The findings reliably show a positive and statistically significant relationship between unionization and investment,including the expansion of original products sustainment,the development of new products,and technological innovation.On the other hand,it is observed that the effects depend on the response that the enterprises present in terms of labour protection,improving substantially the investments in those where these rights and interests are better protected.In essence,it follows that in a situation of economic slowdown,the government must create adequate labour market institutions in order to stimulate the positive role of labour unions in the growth of private enterprises investments.
