摘要:An fatigue experiment on the 316L stainless steel diffusion bonding joints was conducted in order to observe the evolution of microvoids and grains, and the mechanism of fatigue fracture at the interface was investigated. The results showed that most of the interfacial microvoids become wider rather than propagate along the interface. Only the microvoids located at narrow grain boundaries grow. The crack propagated along the interface may turn to intergranulation when the interfacial crack meets the grain boundary. The crack grows along either the interface of the joint or the grain boundary. However, the crack growth along the interface is prior to that along the grain boundary.
