摘要:NOVELTY - Sugar chiral phosphine thiourea compound (I) is new, where sugar is monosaccharide, disaccharide, or polysaccharide and hydroxy group of sugar is protected by ester group, ether group, or acetal ketone. USE - Compound (I) used as chiral organic catalyst for asymmetric intramolecular Baylis-Hillman reaction of chiral hydroxy compound of formula (II) (claimed). Ar'=optionally substituted aryl comprising phenyl, naphthyl, thienyl, furyl, pyridyl, and imidazolyl, where substituent comprises 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy, halo, and nitro;and n=0, 1, or 2. ADVANTAGE - The compound has good activity and enantioselectivity, which reaches up to 99% enantiomeric excess. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Sugar chiral phosphine thiourea compound of formula (I) is new, where sugar is monosaccharide, disaccharide, or polysaccharide and hydroxy group of sugar is protected by ester group, ether group, or acetal ketone, and spatial configuration of cyclohexyl is (R,R) or (S,S). R=alkyl, cycloalkyl, or phenyl optionally substituted by 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy, or halo. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of compound (I).
